The CARE course series is a professionalism thread that takes place across the first two years of DPT study. The series is designed to help students form professional identity by better understanding the professional landscape, the scope of professional responsibilities, and the environmental and personal contextual factors influencing their role as health care providers.

During this first component of the CARE course series, content will focus on the expectations of a graduate level trainee in physical therapy. Sessions are designed to provide a framework in which learners can position themselves for success in academic and clinical learning environments. Content in this course serves as foundational knowledge and skill upon which the series will build.
