Integrative Health Equity & Applied Research (IHEAR) [S21]

Throughout the summer, we will be

(1) showcasing examples of integrative medicine research designed to advance health equity, and discussing how they fit within NIMHD’s Health Disparities Research Framework and

(2) providing training in a range of professional skills, from strengthening interprofessional teamwork to enhancing resilience.

All of this will be taught through a lens of health equity and will build on the potential for (and responsibility of) integrative medicine to contribute to health justice.
