The online learning format gives you a unique opportunity to deliver your lecture materials online. We suggest you address the camera as if it were a student in your office.
Decide on a style of video from the examples provided, or as described in your outline.
Schedule time to record your video. Give yourself some time before and after if possible.
Practice delivering your lecture and presentation as outlined in the plan.
Begin by introducing yourself, your experiences that relate to the content of your lecture, and a brief summary of what you will be covering in your lecture.
If you have been doing multiple lectures or have your material separated into sections, feel free to reference other topics or videos. Avoid dating your content so that the video can be used year to year.
Draw parallels to other units in the course where possible.
Closeout with a summary of what was covered.
