Course Description: The UCSF Responsible Conduct of Research Program for Postdoctoral Scholars (RCR-PS) is a course designed to satisfy NIH and NSF requirements for training in the responsible conduct of research for those with postdoctoral appointments. Unique to the postdoctoral training experience, the RCR-PS program utilizes a combination of 75-minute in-person lectures, case studies and virtual faculty-facilitated 90-minute discussions.
Times, Dates, and Locations:
There are eight lectures and eight discussion sections.
- With the exception of sessions 7 and 8, lectures are 75 minutes in duration and will be held in person from 1:00pm-2:15pm on Fridays. Discussion sections are 90 minutes in duration and will be delivered by UCSF faculty facilitators on the Mondays following lectures from 1:00pm-2:30pm over Zoom.
- For sessions 7 and 8, the lecture and discussion sections will be combined. These sessions will run for 90 minutes from 1:00pm-2:30pm, that time will include both the lecture and the discussion. All of session 8 (lecture and discussion) will be held virtually over Zoom.
