  • Lecture: Orientation to Biostat 200, types of statistical variables, univariate data summary, and graphical analysis

    This lecture will include an overview of the course and expectations. Introduction to descriptive statistical analysis including definition of different types of variables, construction of frequency tables, measures of centrality (means, median, mode, range), standard deviation, and graphs (histograms, box plots, scatter plots, line graphs).
