Assignment 3a

Assignment 3a: Go to the web site of the NIH institute you want to contact, and look for their link to the contacts for Career Development and Training Awards.  Often this is under their Grant Funding page.  If you have not advanced to candidacy check in with PO to see if you can receive the award before you’ve advanced to candidacy. 

Call or e-mail the Scientific Program Contact to determine whether your topic is of interest. Arrange for a discussion of your specific aims. Turn in notes about the phone call or a copy of the e-mail chain.
