By the end of the calibration sessions, the graduate learner will:

  • Understand the concept of calibration
  • Understand the importance of regular calibration training
  • Use practical thinking skills when evaluating student performance
  • Use critical thinking skills to self-assess personal summative evaluations
  • Connect formative feedback with summative evaluation in order to promote student learning
  • Understand how calibration promotes the team approach in clinical education
  • Be more interested in achieving and maintaining high levels of calibration
  • Use the model provided in the lecture as a method to conduct calibration training
