By the end of class, the master candidate will 

1. Appreciate the research elements and design of the study: The Educational Effects of Portfolios on Undergraduate Learning

2. Define the  Kirkpatrick Hierarchy Model and its use in evaluation of student training in health care professions

3. Design 2 -3 open ended questions that will stimulate a classroom discussion regarding educational portfolios

1. By the end of class the graduate learner will

1. appreciate the research elements and design of the study: The Educational Effects of Portfolios on Undergraduate Student Learning.

2. define Kirkpatrick's Hierarchy Model and its use in evaluation of health care students' skill development

3. Design 2-3 open-ended questions that will stimulate a classroom discussion regarding portfolios and dental hygiene education.
