Description
By the end of class, the Master Candidate will be able to:
- Assess the quality of a rubric used in education
- List 2 differences between a rubric and a skill competency grading scale
- Refine the Teaching Statement Rubric to increase its effectiveness
- Appreciate at least 2 reasons why rubrics are used in dental hygiene basic education programs

- Assess the quality and use of a rubric in education
- Appreciate the use of a rubric for grading in a basic dental hygiene program
- Refine the Teaching Philosophy Statement rubric used in DH202C
