DCR Students – By now, you should have turned in your written Assignment 1, and I hope everyone is feeling good about your DCR “launch”! There are bound to be questions and uncertainty (and possibly even anxiety) about the study you are designing, and even WHAT study you want to design. Many people decide to switch topics during the Summer – it’s all OK with us, and your small group leader can help you think through the decision.
Assignment 2 is now posted on the Syllabus. Part of the assignment is to do a 1-page outline for your study design – this is a very quick and useful format for sharing with your mentor and others to get quick feedback on a study you are thinking about. I encourage you to have those conversations early and often.
Tom Newman will be lecturing during the 9-10 hour on Tuesday next week – he’s a great teacher. Slides will be posted early next week. See you there!
