DCR Students –
Next week is our final session of DCR. I’ll give a lecture on “Learning Healthcare System Research Projects”, which will cover the topic of RCTs that are embedded in the healthcare delivery system, ethics, design, pitfalls, etc. I hope you’ll find it interesting. If you’re interested in research using data from electronic health records, consider watching my recorded lecture from last year on this topic.
Your assignment this week is posted; the most important part is finishing a full draft of your 5-page protocol and bringing “unsettled issues” to class to discuss. This is your final moment to get in-person help and feedback on your project. Pay attention, though, to the pre-testing plan and the grant application review items too - you'll find those useful as well.
I’ll also discuss instructions for turning in your final protocols, grading, etc during class.
See you on Tuesday!
