In some ways your research as outlined in your response to question 1 could also be viewed as third generation. A disparity was identified, an intervention was taken to address that disparity, and now you are analyzing the efficacy of that intervention. Some other questions that came to mind when reading about your research interests: Are pulmonary hypertension patients less likely to survive to transplant when compared to females with another indication for transplant? Are pulmonary hypertension patients fairly homogenous, or are there sub-groups that do particularly poorly with regards to survival to transplant?
