The Heck article, it was unfortunate that EPDS and PHQ-9 have low predictive accuracy in Native American and Alaskan Native population. Although this was a meta analysis, I wonder if bringing other stakeholders such as representatives in the community or having focus groups with these women in the future, would help inform an assessment that captures postpartum depression in these women. For the Vilchez article, I'm surprised they conducted an unplanned subgroup analysis. As you mentioned above, I think that the results may be slightly biased, and leads me to believe that the observed differences are not commonly seen in practice.
