StatTransfer experience

Hello - Just following up on a comment from today's Biostat 212 lecture regarding StatTransfer (PowerPoint slide #6). I tried StatTransfer for converting my Access database tables directly into Stata files. It finally worked when I downloaded the 2010 ODBC driver for Access directly from the Microsoft website. Here is the weblink (it took me quite a while to find it, and I was even e-mailing the StatTransfer technical support team for the past few days):

2010 ODBC driver - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255

My Windows 7 operating system is 64-bit, but my Access software is 32-bit. That's where things got confusing. So, for the 2010 ODBC driver, you have to download the NON 64-bit version (the file name is AccessDatabaseEngine.exe).

Once you install this, StatTransfer is pretty cool.
