I was impressed with the high scale reliability of 0.92 of the study you chose!
I agree with your additional implications for future research, in particular the clinical reliability of the questionnaire in terms of the outcome measured. As you briefly mentioned, without validation of the outcome measured, future interventions or policy changes could be targeting a different outcome and not addressing the true outcome. I also agree with using this scale in other populations to assess generalizability of the scale to other cultures and religions, as beliefs about abortion vary greatly based on cultural and religious values.
