Hello everyone:The general topic for our session this Friday is Financing and Accounting for your practice, and there are numerous resources posted from our two guest speakers. One is Mr. Andrew Ventura from Wells Fargo Bank who will discuss how to finance a practice purchase. You will learn about your worthiness as a potential borrower for the 'right' practice. The other is Mr. Edward Challberg, a CPA who specializes in accounting for dentists. He will present some important points about financial records. Our group project will be to analyze a sample practice that you are considering purchasing.
As an aside, you might remember our discussion of personality types, and how we generalized which can be appropriate for the success of certain professions. You'll see two different types in Mr Ventura and Mr Challberg and you may appreciate their strengths based on their expertise.
