Thank You Maria for your response. From class and from the readings including the ney york article that you sent - I am a little confused on where exactly does GxE operate at its fullest. It seems to me (an i might be wrong) that it has its maximal effect in the early years of life? You mentioned in class that beyond 4 years of age, there is no meaningful neurogenesis going on so I got confused as to my own case. It implies that environmental rather than genetics has a more critical role in the years after birth than genetics? Is this correct?
