Hi Sherry - Thanks for submitting your responses and sorry for the delay in my comments. Your outcome is very interesting. I have heard in my work at Highland from a provider that she was surprised by how many of the non-English speaking patients did not have someone they could delegate as a surrogate decision maker. She was under the impression that these language isolated people would be living here with other family members and would have access to networks. I haven't seen anything in the literature about this.
