Hi Atul, very interesting paper, thank you for the selection. I agree with your thorough explanation that a test with poor validity will not measure disparity accurately. After the reading over the paper a bit, while the authors attended to racial disparities and noted that they needed to assess other geographical regions, I kept wondering if their measurement would be more meaningful going beyond just racial disparities. It seems like the disparities that may have been the driving force were neighborhood-specific data and social class outcomes.
