Whoa! I had a general idea of the negative health consequences of climate change, but I had no idea that heat-related mortality was such a significant problem. As you mentioned in your problem statement regarding significant variability between existing warning systems, I would guess that each country and likely province will have its own barriers and facilitators to implementation. Do you have one particular country in mind with a high potential burden and no early warning system that could act as a case study (?India)?
