For the final presentation, I am putting in a proposed schedule below. Please let me know if you can NOT make the date I have assigned you.
As we have discussed in class, the goal of this presentation is for you to apply something you learned in this class to your ongoing work/interests, and in that way deepen the concepts and methods for everyone else. In addition, we would like this presentation to be helpful to you, and invite you to include questions for discussion that would be helpful for you in moving forward in your thinking.
For the presentation itself, each person will have 20-30 minutes. My recommendation is that you plan on talking (with slides) for 10-15 minutes about your work, with reference to the course content. You can then lead a facilitated discussion with the group to further explore your area of interest and get feedback.
If you are not able to present on either of the days, please let me know immediately. We can have you submit a slide set with notes that we can review in class, and you will write a 3-4 page paper on the same topic that you would have presented on.
