Self-Assessment (SA) Outline

This exercise is designed to assist you in reflecting on your learning and making the most of your limited clinical time.

If as the quarter moves forward you begin to feel these prompts are becoming redundant, you do not need to address any that are not of value to your planning. However, if you choose not to address a provided prompt, please substitute one of your own that addresses something specific that will be valuable for you.

48 hours following each clinical rotation please submit the following via a post to your Clinic Journal:

  • Date/clinic exercise
  • What was the most beneficial aspect of the clinical exercise for you - what was the best "take-home" from the activity?
  • What will you never or always do based on your experiences during this exercise?
  • Where were you strong during the exercise?
    • What evidence can you share to support this believe?
  • Where were you weak during the exercise?
    • How can you approach remedying this identified weakness?
    • Anything you would do differently from today and why?
  • How did your group assist or hinder your progress during the exercise?
  • How did you assist or hinder your partners during this exercise
