This lab will focus on starting to analyze data for your own project. You’ve created your own cohort and extracted data for your primary outcome and predictor variables. Now lets start doing some basic analysis.
This lab is not meant to be prescriptive, but to provide general guidance for you to work towards your final project. The final deliverable for this lab is vaguely defined on purpose.
In this lab, we want you to do some basic bivariate analyses between patient demographics and your outcome variable, such as patient sex, age, and race/ethnicity. You can perform t-tests, chi-sq tests, ANOVA, or any other relevant approach.
Your final output does not need to be in a single table; it will be more time efficient to report each analysis separately.
