  • Lecture: Individual behavioral and biological factors and communication with clinicians

    Two global areas of factors contributing to understanding of mechanisms of health disparities are covered: 1) Individual behavioral factors such as cigarette smoking and physical activity, and their relationship to biological factors and how these may affect health disparities; 2) Communication between patients and their clinicians with a special emphasis on language, literacy and numeracy.
