Class starts tomorrow and it will be introductions, introduction to the course, some statistical basics and a bit of Stata to get us started. If you already know R you can certainly do the labs and HW in R (but let me know so I can convert the data from Stata to Excel for you.
The CLE (class website) is continuing to evolve and should be relatively complete by next week.
There will occasionally be a short assigned reading for the class (there is one for next week - on the CLE & attached below). This reading discusses using probability in the courtroom and next week we will learn some probability.
Also feel free to forward interesting articles, bad graphics, fun statistics to me to share with the class.
