I am additionally having difficulty with the problem set. For question #3, I don't know if its a grammar issue that I am having but I am not sure how to complete the first table. Are we saying the sens/spec in the initial test stays the same?

Hi , I think the problem is saying that the new test (perfect test) does not give you any false negative and false positive.

Vittorio is correct. You will never have T- when D+ and never have T+ when D-. That should allow you to fill in zeros for 4 of the 8 cells in the table.
