Thank you for sharing your insights and your work. I think it is great that your research spans the spectrum of being 1st-4th generation. I think this gives you a great perspective of health disparities research in all different stages, and allows you experience in figuring out what challenges may arise in doing research in each of these areas. I definitely agree with you about the importance of safe injection sites as a tool for harm reduction in patients with IV drug use. There are a lot of disparities that exist in health delivery and outcomes for patients with IV drug use and safe injection/consumption sites may play a key role in addressing some of these disparities. I'm curious to see how these SCS will be rolled out here in the U.S. and look forward to seeing, what I hope will be, positive outcomes for these patients.
