Thank you for sharing your work! I think it's extremely important to understand disparities in prescribing opiates. A qualitative study may be interesting too in order to understand how our patients themselves perceive these challenges, barriers, and disparities. Even a qualitative study with providers would be interesting, and this could generate ideas for future work and interventions in narcotic prescriptions.
