Dear DCEA / Epi 213 Students,
Shortly, you will receive an invitation to Zoom for our last (!) class this Thursday – Iron CEA America. This will be a friendly competition in which you will be divided into 2 – 3 groups. Each group will have the same CEA problem and will be asked to complete a whole analysis in the space of 70 minutes. One person from each group will present their group’s work. Lekha, Jim and I will then judge each group’s work and select a winner. It is intended to be fun while also giving you a chance to flex your newly-developed CEA muscles and realize how much you have learned this quarter.
I will send you the instructions for the CEA just before class begins.
Zoom has a “Rooms” feature that I’ve never used before, but which should work fine: I will assign each of you to a “Room” – one for each group. You can communicate privately among yourselves in each room, though I, as the host, have the ability to move freely in and out of the rooms.
