PC vs. Mac

PC vs. Mac

HI all,

I was previously working on stata on a pc and now i've switched to a mac. It appears that, even with working with relative paths, you need to switch from using backslash (\) to forward slash (/). Is this everyone's experience? Or is there a way to change this within STATA?

No, unfortunately the paths are a fundamental part of the operating system and are not something STATA can overcome completely.. Only the / 's and \'s that are within STATA itself are consistent across platforms
