Does the information we present in the table have to be different than the information we present in the graph/figure? For example, I'm planning on doing some demographic data (from my larger data set) for my table and was going to then present that same demographic information as a figure. I wasn't sure if this was allowed. Or if the figure needed to present completely new information.

That's allowed! The figure will likely allow you to show the same information in a slightly different way than it's presented in the graph, so no worries about some overlap in the data you're presenting.
