Table vs Figure

Does the information we present in the table have to be different than the information we present in the graph/figure? For example, I'm planning on doing someĀ demographic data (from my larger data set) for my table and was going to then present that same demographic information as a figure. I wasn't sure if this was allowed. Or if the figure needed to present completely new information.

Hi Sarah,
That's allowed! The figure will likely allow you to show the same information in a slightly different way than it's presented in the graph, so no worries about some overlap in the data you're presenting.
