I'm trying to create a kaplan meier curve and am having trouble with the time variable.
A little background: I'm looking at liver transplant patients and the time it takes for a biliary anastomotic stricture to develop. The problem I'm running into is not all patients developed a stricture, so their "time to stricture" variable is missing. When I run the analysis, none of the "no stricture" data is used.
In the stset dialog box, I set my time variable to "time to stricture" and my failure event as development of stricture. Is there another way I'm supposed to be doing this?
