Hi DCR - We're very much looking forward to launching the course tomorrow and meeting you all. A couple of pre-launch updates:
1) We did some last-minute shuffling of small group assignments to accommodate some last minute requests and balance out numbers. If you were affected, you should have received an email, but I suggest you check the roster again in any case and confirm that you know who your small group leader is.
2) Those of you who will be at Mission Bay tomorrow morning for an in-person small group session may be looking around for a place to sit and join the full class Zoom session from 9-9:45am. We believe all or most of the small group rooms booked at 10 will also be open at 9am, so you are free to go in and use those rooms. If there are others in the room, please use earbuds on your laptop (or set up the room system and participate as a group!).
3) If you are coming on campus, please follow UCSF rules about COVID screening, and new policy about wearing masks indoors (it's required). I'm sorry that this will somewhat inhibit small group interactions, but it will be safer. Here is the website where you can find the daily screener: https://www.ucsfhealth.org/daily-health-screening
4) For students in Zoom small groups, Zoom links and info is now posted on the CLE syllabus.
