Hello my name is Caroline Melhado, I go by Caroline I am a research resident having completed three years of my general surgery residency. I am interested in pediatric trauma, specifically clinical outcomes amongst vulnerable populations and improving trauma systems. I am currently working on a number of studies, the largest is a prospective cohort study examining the long term functional outcomes of pediatric trauma patients and the effect of health literacy on outcomes.
