Hi all! I'm Erin (she/her) & obviously a big fan of any cereal that is not Raisin Bran.

  • Stage in training – 1st year PhD student in epidemiology & translational science
  • Are you designing a study? Not yet! Some day, that's the goal!
  • Do you have a data set that you are analyzing? Will be soon when we get the data! (Kaiser EHR data for a study investigating the relationship between statins & dementia related to vascular causes)
  • Are you in the process of collecting your own data? Not yet! Again, some day
Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hi Kate! I hope you are a fellow cereal fan. I will eat absolutely anything that is not Raisin Bran. I have a box of cereal on top of my fridge at all times and currently it is Rice Krispies. However, I will say that Peanut Butter Chex, Cinnamon Chex, and Honey Nut Cheerios are closest to my heart.

I am! I love cinnamon life, frosted mini wheats, lucky charms and for sure the sound that Rice Krispies makes! I also like to try the different milks like almond, hemp, and even flax. :) Hope you have a great quarter!

Hi Erin,
I am a 1st year PhD student in Global Health Sciences and it seems like we have some overlap with epi and biostats students. My study and data collection responses were really similar to yours; I, too, am looking forward to learning from this course.

I'm also here to say that I'm a fan of bran flakes and raisin bran! I'm hoping this can make us allies in that we won't steal one another's cereal ;).

Great to be virtually introduced,

Ashley
