Post your introduction

Hi everyone!  I'm Audrey Brown and I'm a General Surgery resident doing my first of two research years in the middle of my surgery residency.  Please call me Audrey.  I'm originally from Oregon and moved down to SF for residency.  I'm interested in hepatobiliary and transplant surgery with a particular focus on Hepatocellular Carcinoma.  I will be doing a combination of translational and clinical projects during the next two years, with my main project focused on differential gene expression within cirrhotic liver parenchyma, particularly changes that are associated with HCC development.  Looking forward to working with everyone this quarter!
