Hi all, we are going to push the start time back to 3:05 (or 3:10 if needed) to accommodate the students who are coming from a another class.
Also, please fully read at least one F31 grant in the grant examples file. The ones that may be most relevant are: redacted, Moseson, Santos, and Wagman, but feel free to look at the others (some from Washington University psych department). If you are contemplating submitting an R36 read one of those too, so you can see how they compare. Please try to get a feeling for the separate sections, and what the purpose of each is. You might want to refer to the "F31 Table of grant sections" document in the reference materials folder. Please note (jot down or highlight on a copy) ways in which the application best draws you in and gets you excited about his/her career and his/her research goals. Also note how the linked the separate sections are. For example, where the training plan is closely linked to the research plan (and emphasized).
See you in 2 weeks!
Judy
