Welcome to Clinical Epidemiology (Epi 202)!
I've already received some inquiries/notifications of people needing to miss class, so I just want to let you know that attendance in Epi 202 (and most future TICR courses) is OPTIONAL.
Once the course starts, you can ask you section leader if he or she wants to know when you will miss class. All that matters for the grade is turning in the homework on time, which you can do via e-mail.
I will see that the first section is particularly fun, and encourage you to attend it if you can.
