I am assuming that this is now asking if instead of the 3G instrument, we used parent report of smartphone use? Or are we still using the 3G instrument and now seeing if parents were to report also?

You should assume the study was done as reported and address whether/how the potential bias mentioned would affect the results.

I'm wondering if now the investigator took the parent report under consideration. In b it states "No data on actual smartphone usage was collected in this study". Now in d are we using parent report rather than the instrument?
And another question that came up was 10e. Is this asking where the 25% came from or why 0.25 is not the propensity score?

***I'm not sure what you mean by "Are we using...?" We did not do the study, so it is not up to us whether to use parent report. We can only do our best to interpret the study as reported.
