Dear students: for those of you taking the final exam next Tuesday, you can prepare by viewing the lecture capture from this morning's session. You'll see two parts: 1) is a lecture about laser fundamentals and a sampling of clinical cases. There were some good questions, and I tried to repeat the question and answer so that you can have them on the lecture capture.
2) the second session after the break shows 8 different clinical cases that we discussed. I handed out a one page document for note taking and comments. For each case, I asked for an indication of power level, any comments about precautions, and a statement of the desired tissue temperature. You can download the document that's attached and follow along.
We had some good discussions about the use of our soft tissue diode lasers for different treatments, and I hope you can follow the lecture capture.
