I hope you enjoyed class today. Three short announcements:
1. WELCOME to our Ugandan students, and to Dr. Miriam Laker, their teacher. I meant to do that more during lecture.
2. I encourage you to look at the lecture notes Martina made last year. Many students have found them very helpful. To me they are a joy to behold, even if I already understand the material. They are on the CLE website under lecture 1.
3. I will post HW #2 (covering Kappa, the first one you'll turn in) this evening.
