I am very proud of those of you who have already attended the laser workshops--you are all competent to begin some 'simple' soft tissue laser procedures on your patients. Please know that many (theoretically all) of the faculty are calibrated and comfortable with your use of the laser. Congratulations to you, and you've completed the requirement for that part of PCC 146. You will all receive a Student Competency Certificate in your mailboxes in December.
I do have a significant worry--there are some of you who had signed up and did not show up for your session. Others of you may have simply forgot that you signed up. I realize that circumstances do arise where you need to re-schedule, but the current sign-ups do not include all of your class. That's going to be a big problem for some of you, because there are no more sessions available after November 18.
