Cindy and I apologize for logistical problems and administrative errors with the course you've been experiencing in the past couple of weeks. As I mentioned in class on Friday, we lost a TA in our second week of class and the TICR program was not able to help us find anyone else. We currently only have a few hours of help from a doctoral student to do hw grading, but Cindy and I are responsible for all the other course-related tasks.
We are very sorry for these disruptions to your education, in particular for the situation with hws #3 and #4 which were switched around. Hw#3 included questions on case-control study design which were not covered until the lecture in week #4. We took this into account while grading hw #3. There should be no issues with hw#4 as it was based on readings assigned to week #3.
We want to assure you that we review all graded homeworks before they are sent back to students. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Cindy and me if you would like us to have a second look at your homework grade or if you have any other questions.
