Hi everyone – Here is the updated plan for our 9-10am session on Tuesday next week (8/1).

1) As announced, the 9-10am session will be an online Zoom webinar.  Instructions for how to connect are in the CLE syllabus.

2) Your small group session rooms are now reserved starting at 9am.  This means that you can go sit in the room at 9am, attend the 9-10am session online, and transition directly into your small group session starting at 10am without moving.  (Note – for students in the online section and in Ben Chaffee’s Wed AM session, this does not apply).

3) Your small group leader MAY OR MAY NOT be there at 9am.  In any case, you and the students in your small group can decide if you want to have ONE person (maybe your small group leader, maybe not) log into the Zoom webinar from a laptop and project using the AV equipment in the room, or if you want to all log in separately on your own laptops.  I suggest that you all bring both laptops and earbuds so you can keep your options open!

How you decide to attend the 9-10am session is up to you.  I’ve asked your small group leaders to open a conversation with you about logistics.  Whatever you jointly decide to do is fine with me.  I hope this works!

10-12am Small Group sessions will proceed as usual.

Hi DCR Students - Looking forward to our experiment in online education tomorrow morning at 9AM with Deborah Grady.  Gina Gaiser will be supporting the Zoom conference tool, and is available for emergency tech questions at 510-409-3275 (text) or email (Gina.Gaiser@ucsf.edu).  Hope it works!
