Hi DCR Students -
By now, you will be revising your Week 1 written assignment with feedback from your small group sessions, and preparing to turn it in to your Small Group Leader by midnight tonight. Your Small Group Leader will get you comments back within a couple of days (they will let you know of specifics here).
Here's what to expect in WEEK 2:
1) We have posted 3 lecture segments recently recorded by Tom Newman on "Subjects and Variables". Along with this week’s reading, these lectures are the primary course content this week in DCR. Watch these lectures before tackling your written homework in Week 2. They are posted now, so you can watch them today if you want!
2) The 9-10am session will be ONLINE - please see details posted earlier today in this News Forum.
3) I have ALSO posted a new mini-lecture on "Study Design Basics" in the "Materials" section next week. It's 16 minutes long, and a good primer to get you thinking about your study design options, pros and cons of different designs, etc.
4) Assignment 2 (and an example for guidance) is now posted. Feel free to dig in and start when you like!
