Hi all -
Our spirited discussion on Tuesday meant that I wasn't quite able to finish all my slides, so I wanted to attach them here and ask you all to look over them. There are two important take away points:
1. By applying a socioecological lens, you can identify the multilevel influences most relevant to your particular research question. In doing this, you can move from a broad, all encompassing model of concentric circles (like the obesity one I showed) to one that focuses on the particular interconnections of relevance to your area (and is therefore less overwhelming). There are examples of this in the slides attached.
2. How we will be talking about the multilevel influences by week is broken down in the last slide - social determinants next week, then behaviors, etc.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Christine
