    • Outpatient clinical SOAP Note submission: 

      The first SOAP note is due January 28th at midnight and will continue until you are notified by Vanessa. This is a competency based assignment, so when your notes show that you have competency in the skill, you are finished.

      Assignment: submit at least ONE problem oriented SOAP note each week based on a clinical situation that you encountered.  You may submit more if you want more feedback. Please e-mail your notes to Vanessa and make sure they are word documents so I can edit them in review and send them back to you. This is a requirement of the clinical course. It is not critical that this be a patient you saw in clinic (although helpful if it was and is possible!), nor that the lab values you include be the real ones from your patient.
