Section outline

    • Note: When you graduate there are clinical visit competencies for your WHNP which include approximately 90 primary care visits. You do not have primary care clinical, so what that means is that when you see someone who is pregnant with a URI or otitis or contact dermatitis count that as a primary care visit too (a check-box in E*Value & InPlace). When you see a triage visit in the birth center for a URI or non-obstetric abdominal pain or whatever that is not related to pregnancy mark it as a primary care visit. This will save you heartache down the pike. There is a list of primary care diagnoses on the specialty site.
