Advanced Acute Care Pediatric Nursing II: This course focuses on the pathophysiology, symptomology, diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation, and management in acute care pediatric nurse practitioner practice for infants, children, and adolescents with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions. It highlights pediatric dermatologic, immunologic, rheumatologic, toxicologic, otolaryngologic, hematologic, oncologic, and infectious disease conditions with an emphasis on applying evidence-based practice to guide culturally sensitive and ethical care.
