    What is STATA? Role of STATA in comparison to Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel.  Comparison with other statistical software packages. Tour of STATA windows and features.  How to run a command and get results. How to load STATA dataset.  How to begin describing and analyzing your data with STATA.
